Vintage Pearl China Yellow Open Sugar Bowl & Creamer Set w/22 Kt Gold Roses
Mid Century Modern - Atomic Age Design Style
Creamer is approx. 3 1/2" tall and 6 1/8" wide
Sugar Bowl is approx. 3 1/3" tall & 6 3/4" wide
This Cream & Sugar set may date back to the 1940's and I believe they are style #10 & #11.
They are a vivid yellow color with 22 Kt. Gold rose blossoms, buds and lining the upper edges.
(The yellow color is possibly a little bit brighter than some of the photos show.)
Stamped on the bottom in gold is the Pearl China Co. mark with the word Pearl in a clam shell
and the CHINA CO., below that is:  "HAND DECORATED, 22 KT GOLD, U.S.A.
This set is in Excellent Vintage Condition! No chips, cracks or crackling.
There is some wear in the gold on the handles, with more wear on the creamer than on the sugar bowl.
It also has a several teeny tiny dimples in the glaze that occured during manufacture,
they in no way detracts from the beauty of the pieces.
