Lovely Vintage 1940s ALADDIN GENIE STYLE Ceramic Teapot
Green LUSTERWARE Finish With Heavy Gold Trim And Cream Colored Lid
Gold Trim Is On Entire Bottom Half/End Of Spout And Back Of Handle
Lid Has A Catch On It To Prevent Slipping While Pouring
[please note, any white spots that appear on the pot are simply camera flash on the luster finish and are not actually on pot ]
This VERY UNUSUAL teapot is a FANTASTIC shape- very exaggerated and elongated lines, just super!
Not marked with a marker or manufacturer on bottom of piece
Size Approx. 11.5" Long from handle to spout end, 7"Wide, 3"Across opening
Very Good Condition
No chips, cracks, nicks, scratches, damage or repairs to pot or lid. I would list this as 'excellent' but there is some minor wear to the luster finish and the gold finish on the pot from years of handling. NOT worn away or worn off, just slightly dulled in spots and VERY minor. See all pics and use zoom.
A great piece for a collector- would look fantastic on display or in use.
