; September 13, 1924 – April 16, 1985) was an American film and television actor best known for his roles in western films and as a ubiquitous television presence.
Item: Autographed headshot photograph signed in blue pen.
Dimensions: 6 1/2" x 8"
Condition: Good to very good condition with some foxing and other wear consistent with age.
Stored in an archival bag with board.
Provenance:  From the estate of Ib Melchior, son of the renowned Danish opera star Lauritz Melchior, best known for his performances at the Metropolitan Opera as well as the San Francisco, Hamburg, and Chicago Operas. Ib, who served as an intelligence officer during World War II, was awarded a Silver Star for his capture of the infamous Nazi Werewolves. He later went on to become a noted author and science fiction screenwriter. After Lauritz?s death in 1973, Ib inherited his father's extensive collection of autographs and manuscripts and continued to add to it. The collection includes signatures, signed photos, letters, and other ephemera from famous movie stars, literary figures, composers, musicians and notable politicians.

As eBay does not allow for automatic invoicing of additional district sales tax, this amount will be separately invoiced and must be paid in full by the buyer before purchases can be shipped or released.
