    Welcome to my listing for a very unusual toy -- the
    Orochen Forest Family
    wooden puzzle toy. You can find further backstory about this toy online, but basically it represents the Orochen native peoples of China and the animals they encounter in the Siberian woodlands, such as boar, lynx, reindeer, and eagle. The figures can be treated as play figures or as puzzle pieces. The pieces are all made of wood and are colorfully printed; all the pieces fit together into a round lidded wooden case (Photos 4, 5, 6.) Two cards, in English and Chinese, explain the Orochen and their natural world. It comes in its original cardboard box. The puzzle and container are complete and in excellent condition, with only a trace of handling wear; the cardboard box has a bit of scuffing but no markings or tears. It was purchased from the estate of someone who worked in the toy design industry, and I don't think it was ever played with by any children, which would explain its excellent condition.
