The face of the National Currency Note, Third Charter Period, Series 1902 was issued by the Lumbermans National Bank of Portland, Oregon. It featured a portrait of John Sherman (U.S. Senator, Secretary of State, and Secretary of the Treasury).  "The offset printed background of this card is a  panoramic view of Portland, Oregon created by Clohessy and Strengele in 1890.The photograph was obtained from the Library of Congress...".  Card is mint and measures 10" x 8".
